Big Drag represents a decade of road-worthy, gig-tested rock. Big Drag has played mainly around Chicago in multitudinous venues over the years. Some of the more popular joints are:  

Metro, Double Door, Abbey Pub, the Mutiny, Durty Nellie’s (Palatine), Rockhouse (Rolling Meadows), Otto’s (DeKalb), the House Cafe (Dekalb), and lots more.

Big Drag has over an hour of rock originals; we're very selective about playing cover songs. The best description for the sound is “power pop” although no one in the band will readily admit it. The band members have come from other groups as diverse as:

Big Drag has been working out new songs, recording a demo and playing shows to re-grease the machine. Big Drag is ready to play anywhere, anytime and with anyone. We have a new demo in and are working on a full-length release later in the year.
